Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actor. She is best known for her roles as Megan Dennison, on The Young and the Restless and Bridget Forrester, on The Bold and the Beautiful. She portrayed Daphne on a daily basis on The HBO show True Blood's season two. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. Her first teaching job was in Maury County. There, she taught Reading through kindergarten and the 1st grades. She was married to Brent Jones, her UT Martin love and moved in Thompsons Station in 1998. There she began teaching 4th class in Bethesda Elementary. In 1999 and 2000 she continued on to teach as she completed her Masters in Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from the classroom when the family welcomed their son Baylor to the family in 2000. Ashley has served for 15 years in her church, community and her children. Ashley has been an educator and leader in Thompson Station's Preschool and Students Ministry for 13 years. When Ashley was at home with her kids, they went through three years at home schooling. Ashley, who taught History for kindergarten and 1st grade at home and also took part in the tutorial. God advised her that while she was enjoying homeschooling as well as being in the presence of children, her family needed to return to full time school. Brent and Ashley each have five children. Silas, Eliza and Cruz all attended GCA. Baylor an GCA graduated attends college playing baseball in UT Martin. Callan as well as a GCA graduate attends Western Kentucky University. The family is extremely engaged and they enjoy hunting, fishing and supporting one another in sport.
