Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox went to her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and the flautist piano for three years. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students as well as part-time employment. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her performance compared with the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox played flute in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. This is where she first met Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her solo debut album Diva and it was released around 1992. This album became a huge achievement, both in terms of sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was launched in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. is an accompanying piece for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You Go... It is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox launched her own solo career when she released her first album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of many hit songs like Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is her album in 1995. studio, features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums.
